Job description
In the exciting role as Purchaser at Mediplast, you will work in a global, high pace and dynamic environment. Here you will have an independent role where you will have responsibility for planning, purchasing and delivery monitoring, both from suppliers and our own manufacturing. You will act as a proactive adviser and follow-up on your daily targets.
You will have personal responsibility for a number of suppliers and actively work to ensure long-term relationships. In the role of Purchaser, great structure, accuracy, and the ability to see the whole picture are required as you will work daily with orders, delivery plans, lead times, forecasts, stock levels and turnover. Through analysis of supply chain data, you will predict, manage, and avoid risk situations. Inventory management, tracking backorders, understanding pricing and evaluating risk factors will also be your area of responsibility.
You work in a collaborative way internally with various stakeholders to ensure deliveries take place according to agreements and targets. You will be part of a team consisting of six colleagues in purchasing.

For the role of purchaser, we are looking for you who have:
- Relevant purchasing and/or business education and at least 3 – 5 years of experience in purchasing
- It’s an advantage if you have experience from the MedTech industry
- Good systems/computer skills (mainly Excel) and preferably experience with a business system. It’s an advantage if you have experience with Business Central
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
